FAA/TSA Modular Bomb Training Kit (CSSP Air Cargo)

The FAA/TSA Modular Bomb Training Kit components are used to conduct training and covertly test an X-Ray Scanner operator’s ability to detect Explosive Threats. The original version of the air Cargo Kit was developed by the FAA has now been updated by SVS to match the IED/Explosive threat of today.  Several of the outdated original kit components have been updated with up-to-date threats terrorist are using today. The kit components can be used as individual items, or they can be assembled into simulated IED’s.  Each item has connectors to allow you to build different configurations of IED's. The components contained in the kit meet and exceed the original FAA/TSA technical specifications and are all INERT. The test objects will all respond in x-ray just like the real threats and even trigger any automatic detection features installed on the x-ray system.

The inert simulated explosives do not look like explosives but match the shape of the explosive threat they are simulating. This is a x-ray training kit and was never intended to be used as a visual training aid for screeners. It was designed this way for safety so the INERT explosive simulants would not be mistaken for a real threat.
