The course is designed to provide refresher training your security staff on the proper methods to operate the x-ray, walk through metal detector and hand-held metal detector. The course will cover all the proper set up and calibration procedures for each piece of equipment that guards should be conducting prior to screening operations. Students will also be recertified on the operation of each piece of equipment per the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) published procedures. The course will cover in depth how each piece of equipment responds to all of the different types of threats that they can encounter at the checkpoint.  Students will also learn the how to resolve alarms and the event of the implementation of the facilities emergency action plan. The training package also includes a written assessment of your screening checkpoint and how to improve your operations and or equipment.
